|Alumnae Come Home to Hewitt|
|A record number of alumnae from the classes of 1947 to 2011 returned to their alma mater on May 9 for Reunion 2013. Of the 160 attendees, one alumna, Hilary Downe Hayes ’77, traveled the farthest, coming from London to celebrate her 36th milestone reunion.
As part of the evening’s program, former middle school teacher, Constance “Coco” Hoguet, was honored with the Delman Distinguished Faculty Award for excellence in teaching. Upon receiving her award, Ms. Hoguet said, “Over the years, I have loved and believed in this school, what it stands for and what it accomplishes, so much that frequently I have wished that I had gone to Hewitt myself.” Former Chair of the Hewitt Board of Trustees Wendy Liff Flynn was named an “honorary alumna” and received an honorary diploma in appreciation for her extraordinary dedication to Hewitt.
