Hewitt Clubhouse is an after-school program for girls in grades K-7 that fosters self-expression, discovery, and growth. The program runs daily from dismissal until 6:00 pm and offers enrollment on a seasonal basis. Classes begin after school ends and typically run until 4:30 pm; sample classes include chess, lacrosse, Mandarin Chinese, karate, gymnastics, screenwriting, science, and fashion design. Those interested in continuing the day can do so through an extended afternoon until 6:00 pm, with opportunities for outdoor play time or indoor reading, homework, and games.
Hewitt Clubhouse operates under the umbrella of Auxiliary Programs. Throughout the school year, Auxiliary Programs offers additional programs beneficial to our Hewitt families. Some of our events include fun-filled activity days such as “Friendship Camp” during lower school parent conferences when students are not in school, as well as evening “Pizza and Movie nights” during evening lecture series or meetings for adults. During the summer months, the Summer Clubhouse program opens to the public and offers a camp for boys and girls entering kindergarten through Grade 9.
