This June, the Hewitt community gathered together for A Virtual Celebration of the Class of 2020, an online event honoring our seniors. Developed in collaboration with members of the Class of 2020, this virtual event was not a replacement for an in-person Commencement, but rather a joyous celebration designed for these unusual times.
In addition to photographic tributes, a surprise video message from their kindergarten buddies, and the conferring of diplomas, A Virtual Celebration of the Class of 2020 featured remarks from Student Council President Madeleine Graham ’20, Head of School Dr. Tara Christie Kinsey, and our 2020 Commencement speaker Tiffany Dufu, founder and CEO of The Cru and author of Drop the Ball: Achieving More By Doing Less.
The online gathering gave our community a chance to celebrate the accomplishments, resilience, and spirit of our graduating seniors. Congratulations once again to the Hewitt Class of 2020!
