It is our honor to announce that the senior class leaders have selected Head of Upper School and Assistant Head of School Ms. Elizabeth Stevens and Head of School Dr. Tara Christie Kinsey to deliver The Hewitt School’s 2025 Commencement address.

To reflect and describe their journeys as Hewitt students, the Class of 2025 has chosen “I have been changed for good” as the theme for Commencement. This theme is inspired by the lyrics of “For Good,” a song from the musical Wicked (which many members of the class performed in first grade!). This year’s Commencement ceremony will include a reflection on past events and memories that show how Hewitt has helped change us “for good,” not only as students but as individuals. The Class of 2025 feels that this Commencement theme captures how Hewitt has positively impacted their lives, and hearing leaders like Dr. Kinsey and Ms. Stevens, who have played a crucial role in these transformations, speak to this theme will make it that much more meaningful.

We look forward to hearing Ms. Stevens’ and Dr. Kinsey’s remarks this June!
