Discovering a Passion for Computer Science at Hewitt

Throughout her time at Hewitt, Caroline B., Class of 2022, has explored her interest in programming and robotics through both academic and extracurricular opportunities. Her skill and dedication have led her to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championships and win several awards and competitions, including the 2021 Congressional App Challenge and the 2022 Award for Aspirations in Computing. In this video interview, she reflects on the joy and sense of accomplishment she gets from writing code and building apps, and shares how her teachers have supported and encouraged her to pursue her passion for computer science at Hewitt and beyond.
