At Hewitt, students engage in STEM through hands-on, multisensory learning experiences. In this video, second grade scientists explore the real-world concepts of weathering and erosion by creating models and stop-motion movies. Science Teacher Irene Lee also speaks about how she incorporates critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration into her lessons and shares a few of the transdisciplinary skills students develop throughout their science classes in lower school.
