Congratulations to the remarkable cast and crew of the upper school fall play, Clue: On Stage! Directed by Drama Teacher Colleen Britt, Clue: On Stage is based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game. Set at a remote mansion on a dark and stormy night, the play follows six guests who have come together for a dinner party and end up on a wild goose chase to solve a murder mystery. Clue’s clever script, coupled with the brilliance of the cast and crew, created an atmosphere of suspense, humor, and physicality that left the audience amazed!

This year’s production featured a double cast, a directorial decision that invited a larger number of our performing arts students to participate in the show. In addition to alternating roles, each cast served as the crew for the other, giving everyone involved a chance to get meaningful hands-on experience both on stage and behind-the-scenes.

Stage Manager and Board Operator Olivia G., Class of 2024, utilized her planning and organizational expertise — as well as her ability to stay flexible and improvise —  to oversee every rehearsal and performance of Clue: On Stage. When asked to reflect on the experience she shared, “What's special about my role is that I’m a student who gets to work with experts in their respective fields. Our professional light, set, sound, and costume designers were incredibly supportive of me and have taught me skills that I would have not learned anywhere else.”

Brava to everyone involved for a job well done!
