The Hewitt Hawks’ fall season opened with our varsity soccer, cross country, volleyball, tennis, and junior varsity volleyball teams competing against their opponents with power, strategy, and spirit. Each team had their own moment to shine, setting both individual and team records. Congratulations, Hawks!

Hewitt Varsity Soccer
What a thrilling fall season it has been for the Hewitt Hawks varsity soccer team. The team made a triumphant return to the Athletic Association of Independent Schools (AAIS) playoffs for the first time in five years! It's been a long time coming, and the players, coaches, and fans alike couldn't be more proud of this achievement.
Hewitt Varsity Cross Country
The varsity cross country team showcased their incredible athletic prowess this season. Soaring to new heights, we had an impressive 10 athletes make it to the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) Championship. This remarkable feat is a result of the dedication and hard work of these young athletes.
A special shoutout goes to one senior who left it all on the course and finished seventh place overall in the NYSAIS State Championship. Additionally, this athlete claimed a second place overall finish in the highly competitive AAIS League Championship. Her dedication and leadership on the team have been truly inspirational.
Hewitt Varsity Volleyball
The Hewitt Hawks varsity volleyball team had an outstanding fall season, marked by tremendous growth in team spirit and culture. We are proud to celebrate the team for qualifying for the AAIS Playoffs this season, an achievement that allowed each player to showcase their hard work and dedication!
Hewitt Varsity Tennis
The Hewitt Hawks varsity tennis team left an indelible mark on the court, showcasing the exceptional talent within Hewitt’s tennis program. The season was not only marked by success in the AAIS Playoffs but also by significant strides in team building, setting the stage for a promising future.
A notable highlight of the season was the leadership of one senior who secured her third consecutive New York State Independent School Singles Championship, a testament to her unwavering skill and dedication to the sport. Throughout this impressive three-year run, she maintained an unblemished record, dominating both regular and postseason play.
Hewitt Junior Varsity Volleyball
Throughout the fall season, Hewitt’s J.V. volleyball team exhibited significant progress and maintained a strong sense of unity. The season showcased spectacular performances from both the young talents and seasoned veterans among the Hawks, reflecting the skill and promising potential within the team. We look forward to seeing J.V. volleyball athletes continue to grow in the coming years.
