This December, students in kindergarten through fourth grade participated in the Hewitt Games, a new opportunity to show their school spirit while engaging in joyful and challenging physical activity with their peers. Students prepared for this friendly team competition in their P.E. classes through activities that honed their hand-eye coordination, stamina, and agility, as well as leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. By the time the Hewitt Games began, these lower school athletes were ready to put their hard work to the test, competing in activities including castle ball, box ball, and pin knockdown. Students earned points for their Blue or White school spirit teams based on sportswomanship, determination, strategy, endurance, creativity, teamwork, and, of course, having fun!
