Congratulations to the cast and crew of our middle school spring musical, Disney’s NEWSIES Jr.! This high-energy show was inspired by the real-life newsboys' strike of 1899 and its themes of courage, friendship, and standing up for the pursuit of justice align perfectly with Hewitt’s mission to inspire game changers and ethical leaders.

Over 50 middle school students were involved in the production, and the entire cast and crew had the unique opportunity to work alongside both high school student leaders and theater professionals specializing in lighting, costume design, and sound. Thank you to Drama Teacher and Director Lee Collins and Dance Teacher and Choreographer Linda van Kesteren for leading our students to success in this inspiring production!
