Hewitt’s varsity athletes were thrilled to return to competitive play this fall! Our soccer, tennis, cross country, and volleyball teams kicked off the new school year with an intense pre-season schedule that included on-court skills practice as well as strength training and conditioning. Thanks to their hard work and determination, each team played strong games throughout a competitive season, with varsity soccer, tennis, and cross country all advancing to the playoffs!
The entire Hewitt community was especially excited to cheer on two sophomore athletes as they competed in their sport’s respective championships. Congratulations to one of our cross country runners on her second place wins at both the Athletics Association of Independent Schools (AAIS) and New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) championships, and to one of our tennis players on winning the NYSAIS girls singles championship! Go, Hawks!
