Gifts of appreciated securities offer significant tax advantages for members of our community and are easy to make. By donating stock to Hewitt, donors can maximize their tax savings, avoid capital gains, and deduct 100% of the value of the contribution.

When you transfer stock, please notify the Advancement Office at 212-994-2603 with the name of the stock, number of shares you are transferring and what date the transfer will take place.

Many companies will double, or even triple, charitable gifts to independent schools. Please let us know when you contribute that your company matches gifts. Your employer’s human resources department can provide you with the required forms. Many companies ask for the non-profit's tax ID number. Hewitt's Tax ID is 13-1658789.
